夜幕降临，小陈结束了一整天的忙碌工作，独自踏上回途。昏黄路灯下，他看见一只流浪猫正追逐自己的影子，滑稽的身姿让他忍俊不禁。那一刻，工作的疲惫似乎都被这自然间的小幽默冲散，夜晚也因此变得热和而不再孤单。　　Based on real events, the story follows a father and son (Offerman and Tremblay) who identify as Sovereign Citizens, a group of anti-government extremists, as they venture across the country and find themselves in a standoff with a chief of police (Dennis Quaid) that sets off an intense manhunt with tragic consequences.
